About
Katie Brind
Owner and Founder of Krafty Kids Club
Hi, my name is Katie and i am the founder of the Krafty Kids Club and a professional face painter of 8 years. I am also fully Enhanced DBS checked.
Here is little bit about me - I started Krafty Kids in July 2014. In 2002 i achieved many A Levels including Art and Design Technology. I then studied this further and in 2008 I achieved my Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design whilst working at a local Primary School as a TA.
Shortly after becoming qualified I began working at a local Graphic Designers, designing pieces for the famous Manalo Blahnik (shoe designer), Stella McCartney Fragrances, local companies and local Councils.
After having my two children i decided to become self employed and use my experience, knowledge and love of art by creating Krafty Kids Club, a club where children could create quality themed items to make and keep.
After talking with the owner of a local kids indoor play centre I secured my first venue and began offering weekly themed classes throughout Surrey.
After being fully booked for art parties and face painting most weekends as well as running classes throughout the week I had to make the tough decision to stop running the weekly classes and concentrate on our Parties and Events.
Alex Brind
